Background

I live a life I love in a state of perfect health. 

This is the vision that I held for many years and believed it was possible to achieve. And it is, for everyone. 

I always loved movies and dreamed of a career in entertainment, but often we are told as children by those in authority (teacher, parent, adults) to do what they believe is best for us.  I was told my thoughts about movies and super heroes were dreams. Dreams do not happen...

Yes they do. A dream that is focussed on becomes a practiced thought, which in turn becomes a belief. When we are in alignment with our beliefs and dreams, they DO happen!

I didn't study drama in high school or college. I went to high school at Delbarton in New Jersey - an all-boys school run by monks following the Benedictine order. After graduation, I went to Villanova University just outside Philadelphia. I majored in International Business, because I felt I should prepare for a "responsible" career.

I worked at Banker's Trust, Cerberus Capital Management and HSBC Private Bank. I learned top tier banking strategies at these firms and practice these skills every day with my partner, Vincent J. Aparo. Vinnie and I are partners at Whitestar, LLC, an Entertainment Financing & Consulting company.

Vinnie and I met in August of 2006 when he cast me in his off-Broadway play, Folie A Deux about the Leopold and Loeb murderers from the 1920s made infamous by their defense attorney, Clarence Darrow. Throughout my career in banking I studied acting at T. Schrieber Studio, performed on stage and had smaller parts on TV & film. I owe my deepest gratitude to Mary Boyer, who taught me the tools for telling the story.

Vinnie and I have an excellent working relationship and I consider him much more than a business partner, a friend for life. 

We are both extremely proud to be producing our current project, a multi-platform relaunch of L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz.

Whitestar has an equity stake in Polymorph, LLC, the creative company behind the world's most robust film franchise ever produced. Our dear friend and CEO of Polymorph, George Makrinos, along with his creative team are now the world's leading Oz experts.
